There are traditional Sardinian dresses that are immediately recognizable.
Villagrande Strisaili is one of them, due to the jewels that, pinned to the headpiece, mark the two ends of the face. A chain connects the two jewels, falling softly around the face, as if to symbolize the deep and indissoluble bond between the dress and the person.
