Just as the brooms in spring cover Sardinia with a wonderful intense yellow, enhancing the beauty of an already splendid land, so I imagine our traditional clothes, which, with good weather, come out of our homes to color the streets of our villages.

I like to savor this link between the broom, a symbol of resilience and beauty, and the clothes of our tradition rich in color and layers of life.

"Ginestra" is a small work, the third in the series inspired by our traditional clothes, named after a flower. It was created at the edge of the Białowieża forest, one of the oldest European forests, with at least 8,000 years of history, located on the borderland between Poland and Belarus.
